A fatal single-vehicle accident occurred near Fafri, Doda district, on Saturday, resulting in one death and injuries to six others. An Eco vehicle, bearing registration number JK06A-6642, veered off the road and plunged into a deep ravine.
The deceased has been identified as Nazim Butt, approximately 18 or 19 years old, son of Mohd Yousif Butt.
The injured individuals, all residents of Dhival Ghundna except for Yasir Hamid from Massri Ghundna, are:
- Irfan Ahmed (40), son of Gh Rasool Butt
- Mozim Shafi (18/19), son of Mohd Shafi
- Mubashir Hussain (18/19), son of Mohd Yousif
- Adil Hussain (30), son of Mohd Sabir
- Ashiq Ali (16/17), son of Riyaz Ahmed
- Yasir Hamid (18/19), son of Abdul Hamid
All injured parties were transported to GMC Doda for medical treatment. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
