The Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered two drones carrying narcotics from the border districts of Tarn Taran and Amritsar in Punjab on October 2, 2023.
In the Tarn Taran district, BSF troops intercepted a drone and recovered a packet of suspected narcotics weighing 2.7 Kg from a paddy field in the Kalsian Khurd area. The drone was a Quadcopter (Model – DJI Matrice 300 RTK, made in China).
In the Amritsar district, BSF troops recovered a drone and a bottle containing heroin weighing 0.545 Kg from the paddy fields near the Rajatal village. The drone was also a Quadcopter, a model made in China.
