A fire tore through a single-storey shopping line in Batamaloo, Srinagar, causing significant damage to at least six shops. The blaze, which erupted around 2:34 am, was quickly contained by the Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) personnel, preventing it from spreading to neighboring businesses. Thankfully, no casualties or injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
