Amit Shah’s First J&K Visit Post ‘Operation Sindoor’ Scheduled for May 29-30

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on May 29 and 30, sources confirmed on Tuesday. This upcoming trip marks his first to the Union Territory since India initiated Operation Sindoor.

Operation Sindoor was launched in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians. The operation aims to dismantle terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

During his visit, Shah is expected to meet with individuals affected by cross-border shelling in Poonch.
