Bandipora Police have seized assets worth ₹7.43 crore belonging to Farooq Ahmad Shah (alias Rehmani), a Pakistan-based terror operative. The seized assets include 33.5 Kanals of land (valued at ₹6.93 crore) and a residential property (valued at ₹50 lakh), both located in Onagam, Bandipora.
This action stems from FIR No. 33/2022, filed under IPC Section 121, UAPA Sections 18, 20, and 39, and E&IMCO Act Sections 2/3. Farooq Ahmad Shah, son of Abdul Ahad Shah, is accused of actively aiding militant activities at the direction of Pakistani handlers.
