CM Omar Abdullah, Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh review J&K’s animal husbandry department work

Srinagar, Union Minister for Panchayati Raj, Fisheries, and Animal Husbandry, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, along with Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, today reviewed the operations of the Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department in the Union Territory.

Chief Minister Abdullah confirmed the joint review on his official X handle, stating, “Chief Minister and Union Minister, Rajiv Ranjan Singh ji (@LalanSingh_1) jointly reviewed the working of Animal Husbandry & Fisheries Department today.”

During the visit, Union Minister Singh virtually inaugurated a new 50,000-liter per day Ultra High Temperature (UHT) Milk Plant located in Satwari, Jammu district. “Chief Minister and Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh (@LalanSingh_1) today virtually inaugurated 50,000 litres per day Ultra High Temperature (UHT) Milk Plant set up at Satwari, Jammu,” Abdullah posted.

The Union Minister also engaged with progressive dairy farmers, who shared insights into their improved incomes and the benefits of organized procurement through cooperative societies.

Later, Union Minister Singh met with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Lieutenant Governor Sinha posted on his X handle, “Glad to have met Hon’ble Union Minister for Panchayati Raj, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh Ji at Raj Bhawan Srinagar, today.”
