Delhi’s air quality improved significantly on Saturday, November 11, 2023, after two weeks of severe pollution. The improvement was attributed to intermittent rain and favourable wind conditions.
The air quality index (AQI) stood at 219 at 7 am on Saturday, down from 437 on Thursday. AQI between zero and 50 is considered “good”.
Neighboring cities of Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Noida, and Faridabad also recorded a significant improvement in air quality.
The improvement in air quality is a welcome relief for Delhiites, who have been suffering from the harmful effects of air pollution for the past two weeks.
