Former Jammu and Kashmir minister Lal Singh has been remanded in seven-day custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case.
Singh was arrested on Tuesday and is accused of involvement in a land purchase scam involving an educational trust run by his wife. The ED has sought 14 days of custody, but the court granted seven days instead.
Singh has alleged that he was not given proper medical treatment while in custody.
