Intensify Operations To Uproot Terror: Shah Tells Security Agencies In Kashmir

Union Home Minister Amit Shah concluded his three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir by directing security agencies to intensify anti-terror operations. During a security review meeting in Srinagar, he emphasized the need for enhanced surveillance and seamless coordination to eliminate terrorism. Shah credited the Modi government’s multi-pronged security strategy for significantly curbing terror activities.   

  • Further intensification of anti-terror offensives through advanced vigilance.   
  • Strengthening mutual coordination among security agencies.
  • Ensuring the implementation of Area Domination Plan and Zero Terror Plan.
  • Maintaining a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism.

Shah also reviewed the preparedness for the upcoming Amarnathji Yatra, scheduled from July 3 to August 9, and instructed agencies to ensure a peaceful pilgrimage. The security meeting was attended by senior officials, including the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and various security agency heads. Â
