Jammu Kashmir Raj Bhawan hosted a celebration of Uttarakhand Foundation Day on November 9, 2023. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended his greetings to the people of Uttarakhand and paid tributes to the state’s bravehearts and towering personalities. He said that the foundation day celebration reflects the bond between people and strengthens the inclusive fabric of society, unity, and national integration.
Uttarakhand is the home of the nation’s real heroes and various spiritual sites, including the Char Dhams of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri. The Lt. Governor added that this blessed land is the perfect confluence of patriotism, spirituality, nature, culture, crafts, art, yoga, and Ayurveda. He expressed his pride in the state’s remarkable achievements in various sectors.
A cultural program depicting the rich culture and traditions of Uttarakhand was presented on the occasion.
