Two Jammu and Kashmir Police constables were suspended on Thursday for dereliction of duty. A police team on routine night checking duty found a police vehicle abandoned and the staff deployed for night duty absent.
Following this, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Dr Vinod Kumar ordered the suspension of Selection Grade Constable Jagdish Raj and Constable Wasim Akram of Police Post Chinore.
SSP Kumar said dereliction of duty will not be tolerated and police personnel found slacking on duty will be dealt with strictly.
