The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway remains open to traffic even with continuous heavy rainfall in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district, officials informed.
However, the Khari-Mahoo road in the Banihal Sub-Division of Ramban district has been blocked near the Siran railway bridge due to mudslides.
As a precautionary measure against the inclement weather, the government has ordered the closure of all government and private schools in the district for today.
