SRINAGAR, November 27: The Meteorological Department (MeT) has predicted light rain and snow at various places across Jammu and Kashmir over the next three days.
In a statement issued on Monday, a MeT department spokesperson said that the weather will be generally cloudy with light rain or snow at isolated places on November 27 and 28. On November 29 and 30, the weather will be generally cloudy with light to moderate rain or snow at fairly widespread places, with the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning at a few places.
The spokesperson also said that the weather is likely to remain cloudy during the first week of December.
On the temperature front, the spokesperson said that there has been a significant improvement in minimum temperatures at many stations in the Kashmir division due to cloudiness.
The MeT Department also said that shallow to moderate fog is likely to continue till November 28 over many places in the Kashmir division.
