J&K Gets 25 Liaison Officers for MHA Panel’s 6-Day Visit

A Parliamentary Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir for six days, from April 26th to May 1st, 2025. In preparation for this visit, the Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed a total of 25 Liaison Officers across both the Jammu and Kashmir divisions to assist the committee.

An official government order issued on Saturday confirms the visit dates and the appointment of these officers, who come from various departments and ranks. For the Jammu Division, key liaison officers include Abhishake Abrol, Harpal Singh, Rachna Sharma, Sheetal Pandita, and Manisha. For the Kashmir Division, notable appointees include Owais Mushtaq, Nuzhat Khurshid, Ata-ul Munim Tak, Shabnam Rashid, Raeis Ahmad Bhat, Shurjeel Ali Naiku, Mir Zahida, Najwan Nazki, Suhail ul Islam, Sartaj Hussain, Mantasha Binti Rashid, Ajaz Ahmad Shah, Bashir Ahmad Lone, Nasir Mehmood Khan, and Syed Nadeem Iqbal Andrabi.

The government order further directs all appointed officers to report to the Divisional Commissioners of Jammu and Kashmir respectively on April 23rd, 2025, for a briefing on their specific duties and responsibilities during the Parliamentary Committee’s visit.
