A man with alleged involvement in anti-national activities, identified as Jai Kumar alias Sonu from Mirpur Jagoo village in Nagri tehsil, was detained Saturday in Kathua district under the Public Safety Act (PSA), according to police.
Police stated that approximately a dozen FIRs have been filed against him at different police stations.
An official reported that Kumar’s detention followed the submission of a dossier, after which police secured a warrant from the Kathua district magistrate.
The police spokesperson confirmed that Kumar is currently lodged in Rajouri district.
