Katra: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha presided over the 75th meeting of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) today at the Spiritual Growth Centre in Katra. The meeting welcomed new board members, with the Lieutenant Governor emphasizing the significant responsibility entrusted to them in preserving the Shrine’s spiritual and cultural heritage and enhancing pilgrim services. He also acknowledged the valuable contributions of the outgoing board members.
The Board conducted a comprehensive review of past decisions and ratified actions taken since the last meeting. Several key decisions were made on 21 agenda items, with far-reaching implications for the Shrine’s operations and pilgrim experience.
