Another significant blow to criminal activity in the region! Miran Sahib Police Station has successfully apprehended a notorious and hardened juvenile criminal residing in District Jammu.
This arrest stems from FIR No. 53/2025, filed under Sections 109, 132, and 191(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), as well as Section 3/25 of the Arms Act. During the operation, law enforcement recovered a country-made pistol (desi katta) along with a live cartridge from the accused’s possession.
Notably, this individual has a history of violent behavior, including involvement in a prior attack on a police team from PS Bari Brahmana, Samba. He is also implicated in previous cases registered under FIR No.’s 89/2024 (u/s 8/21/22/25/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act) and 53/2025 (u/s 109/132/121(1)/125(a)/126(2)/191(2)/191(3) BNS and 4/25 of the Arms Act) at PS Bari Brahmana.
