Kathua, J&K – Two individuals were killed and three others seriously injured when an XUV skidded off the Kathua–Basohli road and plunged into a nallah near Kainta Morh (Dakhnaka) on Sunday around 12:40 PM.
Police officials reported that Mohinder Paul and Pawan Madhan were declared dead upon arrival at GMC Kathua. The three injured individuals, all residents of Ferozepur, are currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.
A team from Police Post Basantpur quickly responded to the scene, rescued the occupants of the vehicle, and transported them to GMC Kathua. Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident and are investigating the cause of the accident.
