An 18-year-old, Imran Bilal Shah of Natipora, Srinagar, was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon near Zero Bridge, Rajbagh, Srinagar, on Tuesday.
Shah was taken to a hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and are currently investigating.
