A tragic bus accident occurred on Thursday morning in the Jatwal area of Samba district, resulting in one fatality and injuries to at least 40 people. The bus was transporting approximately 70 pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh to the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra when it crashed.
Emergency services, along with locals, quickly responded to the scene to assist the victims. The injured passengers were transported to a nearby hospital for medical care. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
