Srinagar Police have arrested five individuals in connection with a violent altercation that occurred on the night of August 3rd and 4th at Khayam Chowk, Khanyar. The group is accused of causing a disturbance and assaulting several people during the incident.
Swift action was taken, leading to FIR No. 40/2025 being registered at Police Station Khanyar under sections 109, 115(2), 126(2), and 324(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
During the investigation, all five suspects were identified and apprehended. Police also seized two vehicles used in the incident: a Mahindra Scorpio N and a Toyota Glanza.
The arrested individuals have been identified as:
- Faheem Ahmad Khan from Lal Bazar
- Talat Hassan from Chanapora
- Nadeem Malik from Mehjoor Nagar
- Amir Rashid Molvi from Rainawari
- Mudasir Ahmed Sheikh from Rajbagh
