In an ongoing effort to combat illegal mining, Samba Police confiscated four vehicles, including two dumpers, in the Bari Brahmana and Vijaypur police station jurisdictions. These vehicles were being used for the unlawful transport and extraction of construction materials.
During routine patrols, officers from Police Stations Bari Brahmana and Vijaypur seized the vehicles: dumpers bearing registration numbers JK21J-8799 and JK21J-5799, and two unregistered tractor trolleys.
The seized vehicles have been transferred to the Geology & Mining Department of Samba for further legal proceedings.
