Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested two hybrid terrorists associated with LeT in Baramulla on Wednesday. The duo was apprehended during a naka checking, and one pistol, one pistol magazine, four live pistol rounds, and one grenade were recovered from their possession.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Faisal Majeed Ganie and Noorul Kamran Ganie. They are residents of Baramulla, and they are affiliated with the banned terrorist organization LeT.
During preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the duo had collected the arms and ammunition for carrying out terrorist activities in Baramulla in view of the upcoming Independence Day.
A case under the Indian Arms Act and UA (P) Act has been registered in Police Station Baramulla, and further investigations are underway.
