“Following recent drone attacks by Pakistan on military installations in Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha assured that Indian Armed Forces are prepared for any eventuality. Speaking to reporters after evaluating the situation in the Uri sector, he confirmed Pakistan’s attempts and reiterated the forces’ readiness.
LG Sinha emphasized the J&K administration’s commitment to minimizing public disruption. ‘We are ensuring that people here don’t face any inconvenience. I visited border villages affected by the attacks. Ex-gratia payments have been disbursed to the injured and the families of the deceased,’ he stated.
