Jammu Police, working under operations Meghdoot and Avtaar, swiftly resolved a recent theft case in Upper Thathar.
Following a complaint filed on May 20, 2024, regarding a house burglary, the Domana Police Station registered an FIR (FIR No. 141/2024 U/Ss 457/380/IPC) and launched an investigation.
The investigation led to the arrest of Sajad Ahmed on May 21st from Upper Thathar. During questioning, he confessed to the crime and implicated another individual, Bahadur Ali. They admitted to stealing laptops, a motorcycle, a computer, and other valuables.
Sajad Ahmed further revealed that he had sold some of the stolen items. Based on this information, police recovered a motorcycle and apprehended two receivers, Aksar Khan and Mohd Zaffar, from Reasi district on May 21st and 22nd, respectively. The recovered stolen property included two laptops with chargers, a computer monitor, and data cables.
