Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary emphasized the government’s dedication to fulfilling its promises and prioritizing development projects and welfare initiatives during a commemoration event for former JKLA Speaker Wali Mohd Itoo in D H Pora, Kulgam.
Choudhary assured attendees that the government is actively working to improve infrastructure, employment, healthcare, and education. He pledged to accelerate ongoing projects and implement schemes designed to enhance citizens’ quality of life.
“The trust of the people is our biggest responsibility,” he stated, reaffirming the government’s commitment to delivering on its promises. He also interacted with locals, addressing their concerns and promising swift action on pressing issues.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed officials to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the construction of a rest house in D H Pora.
Minister Sakeena Itoo, daughter of the late Wali Mohammad Itoo, paid tribute to her father, acknowledging his contributions to the welfare and development of Jammu and Kashmir. She reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusive development and progress.
Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, highlighted Wali Mohd Itoo’s efforts in strengthening democratic values and improving public infrastructure.
