J&K: Gulmarg records minus 5.2°C in J&K night temperature drop

While mostly dry weather is predicted until March 20th, there has been a significant drop in nighttime temperatures across Jammu and Kashmir.

Srinagar: The minimum temperature dropped to 1.7°C, which is 2.0°C below normal for this time of year.
Qazigund: The minimum temperature fell to 2.2°C, 0.1°C below average.
Pahalgam: The temperature dipped to a chilly -3.1°C, 1.9°C colder than usual.
Kokernag: The minimum temperature reached 2.3°C, 0.2°C below normal.
Kupwara: The temperature dropped to a low of 0.6°C, 1.7°C below average.
Gulmarg: The famous ski resort in north Kashmir saw a minimum temperature of -5.2°C, 1.9°C colder than usual.

Jammu, the winter capital, also experienced a drop, with a minimum temperature of 10.5°C, 3.5°C below normal.

While the coming days will likely remain dry, forecasters predict a return of rain and snow across Jammu and Kashmir between March 20th and 24th.
