J&K Police Search Terror Suspects’ Premises in Doda-Kishtwar

Law enforcement agencies today executed thorough search operations at the properties of several terrorists with ties to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and their local contacts in the Doda and Kishtwar districts of Jammu and Kashmir, according to official sources.

These extensive searches at the homes of the terrorists and their associates are part of ongoing investigations under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the sources indicated.

Police units carried out these searches at the residences of multiple individuals suspected of having connections to terror outfits and those operating from PoK within the Doda and Kishtwar districts on Monday, they further stated.

These intensified operations targeting terrorists and their support network follow a recent terror attack in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, on April 22, which tragically resulted in the deaths of 26 individuals, including a citizen of Nepal, and left numerous others injured, the sources conveyed.

Authorities emphasized that this action is being undertaken by the police in accordance with established legal protocols.
