M. Raju, an IAS officer from the 2005 batch, has been given the additional charge of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir. This is an interim appointment until Anshul Garg, an IAS officer from the 2013 batch, takes over the role.
Raju, who is also the Commissioner/Secretary for the General Administration and Information Departments, signed the government order in his capacity as Commissioner/Secretary. The order states that the appointment was made in the interest of administration.
