A 42-year-old man, Mukhtar Ahmad Shah, was killed by unknown persons in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Shah was a resident of Panjtaran Karnah and had been involved in narcotics smuggling for several years.
The police said that Shah’s body was found in the village of Pingla Haridal on the intervening night of August 28-29. He had been shot multiple times.
