Border Security Force (BSF) troops in the Hiranagar sector of Jammu and Kashmir arrested a Pakistani intruder after opening fire on a group attempting to cross the International Border on Monday.
Officials stated that BSF troops noticed the group between the Chandwan and Kothey border outposts around 4 p.m. Despite repeated warnings to stop, the intruders continued their advance, which led the BSF personnel to fire upon them.
One of the intruders was injured and subsequently arrested. Officials said he has been taken to a hospital for treatment. An investigation is underway to determine his identity and the motive behind the infiltration attempt.
