This ongoing action aims to dismantle the infrastructure supporting terrorism within the district, as part of investigations into cases registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
- Javid Ahmad Najar, resident of Zaibakadal, implicated in multiple cases dating back to 1999 under various sections of the IA Act, RPC, and ULAP at PS M.R.Gunj, Kothibagh, Safakadal, Nigeen, Soura, and a recent case in 2023 at PS M R Gunj.
- Adil Ahmad Sofi, resident of Rathpora Eidgah, involved in a 2024 case under the ULAP Act at PS M.R.Gunj.
- Shabir Ahmad Ganie, resident of Ganai Mohalla New Theed, linked to a 2019 case under the UA(P) Act at PS Harwan.
- Sheikh Faisal Rashid, resident of Firdous Colony Sadipora, implicated in a 2023 case under IPC, IA Act, and ULAP Act at PS Sangam Srinagar.
- Momin Javari Gojri, resident of Shalimar Colony Sadipora, involved in a 2023 case under IPC and IA Act at PS Sangam.

The police stated that these searches were conducted following due legal procedures, with Executive Magistrates and independent witnesses present, and under the supervision of J&K Police officers.
The primary objective of these operations was to seize arms, documents, and digital devices to gather evidence and intelligence, thereby preventing potential conspiratorial or terrorist activities that threaten national security.
